TOMMY CZ LTD PRO MODEL IN STORES NOW
September 4, 2002 Vista CA: Tommy Czeschin’s limited edition pro model is in stores now. This is the graphic that Tommy designed for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. Originally Nidecker was only going to produce the Project FS line in a 157, 159, and 162. Tommy adopted the Project FS as his board in 2001 stating that it was the best board he had ever ridden. There were no plans to create a graphic specifically designed for Tommy. As the Olympics drew closer and Tommy was guaranteed a spot Nidecker authorized the release of the CZ LTD. “We had been anticipating Tommy participating in the Olympics a year before he qualified,” remarked Jerome Boulay of Nidecker USA. “We had been working on the graphic with Tommy and his designer Bryan Walton for a couple of months.” The 2002 X-Games was the first public appearance of the limited edition graphic. The CZ LTD is available in Tommy’s size 157 at all of Nidecker’s authorized dealers in North America.
As many of you know Tommy injured his knee at the 2002 US Open qualifiers. He has been training hard all summer and has made a full recovery. He is heading to Chile for a couple of weeks in September to get back on the snow. Tommy has no plans on slowing down he is adding filming to his already packed contest schedule in 2003.
