Folgefonna, a glacier in Norway.

story and photos by Daniel Tengs

The trip, the trip took 3 days to get there.  First our car broke down, Torgeir Berre came and picked us up, but we drove the wrong way, it took another day.  Folgefonna is a glacier in the West of Norway, it opens in May with shitloads off snow, for the first few weeks in May its possible to shot good backcountry there, towards the end of May it gets warmer and the avalanches starts coming down.  We went there for some last minute shots for a factor films shoot,  we got one foot of fresh pow the first day (13 may) there was no people there the first day. The next day the skyline was filled with booters from all the Euro video crews in town. We had a lot of good light, blue bird for 3 days, but the last day was cloudy so we waited for windows to shoot. But we got the shots we needed, check the gallery.
