The 2013 Grand Prix at Copper Mountain just wrapped up and it was an international battle. The Olympics are coming up next year, and riders are taking the Grand Prix contests a lot more seriously. In the pipe it was Torah Bright, with her super technical and stylish runs that took the win for the women. And for the guys it was her Australian countrymen Nathan Johnstone that took it. The Slopestyle contest was going off. Since Slope is a new event for the Olympics, people were taking it really seriously. Riders like Mark McMorris, Sven Throgren, and Roope Tonteri were just killing all of the big jumps, and technical rail features. When it was all said and done, Jamie Anderson continued her slope dominance, and Chas Guldemond showed that he's one of the most consistent snowboarders on the planet. He is really, really sick.
