Dear SOS Advocate,
For 10 years, the Snowboard Outreach Society (SOS) has been working with at-risk youth to create resiliency and protective factors in their lives. SOS has worked with many passionate individuals like yourself in order to achieve our mission. We have been successful in working with over 3,500 kids during the 10 years.
Our growth has been astounding! We receive requests consistently from Ski Resorts and individuals across the country to bring our program to their area. This shows a need for the program and the knowledge that what we do with kids WORKS!
Today kicks off our annual holiday fund raising campaign. SOS is in need of raising $35,000 to continue our work with youth at 28 resorts across the country serving 1,200 youth this year. YOUR donation today, be it $25 or $2,500, will keep us making a difference in the lives of youth, one at a time.
What other organization uses the awesome sport of snowboarding to engage youth in youth development activities? Snowboarding is a fantastic draw to teaching character education, positive interaction, civic and community engagement, building self esteem, and self sufficiency.
Continue to support the programs of the Snowboard Outreach Society. Your donation WILL make a difference.
You can donate right now on line via credit card by visiting our secure donation site: click here.
