McLEAN, Va. (December 5, 2002) —Snowboarders can win great prizes throughout the 2002-03 winter season on the award-winning Web site, Snowlink.com. Snowlink is the consumer Web site of SnowSports Industries America (SIA), the national, not-for-profit trade association that represents ski, snowboard and other winter sports outdoor companies.
The contest is accessible from a graphic link on Snowlink’s home page. The contest will feature new prizes every two weeks through the beginning of April. The prizes have been donated by more than 30 SIA members and include items such as parkas, snowboard boots, snowshoes, ski and snowboard videos, goggles, helmets, gloves, hats and accessories. The first prize period began Monday, December 2, and runs through Thursday, December 12. The first 24 registrants will win prize packs with several great items, and two people will win Redfeather snowshoes and a Screamer hat. “We hope these great prizes will be an incentive for people to check out Snowlink on a regular basis throughout the winter,” said Snowlink.com editor Diane Scholfield. “The site has a lot of great information for people who enjoy snow sports — and especially for those who think they might like to give snow sports a try.”
