MCLEAN, Va. (October 31, 2002) Building on the energy and excitement of a new venue – the Mandalay Bay Convention Center – SnowSports Industries America (SIA), today announced its initial group of show sponsors for its most comprehensive schedule of apr?s-show events and festivities to date for the 2003 SIA SnowSports Show. Manufacturers, industry organizations and consumer brands are joining a growing list of companies who are sponsoring celebrations and new show features including: a Super Bowl party, an Opening Night party at the well-known House of Blues, parties showcasing the passion of snowboarding and skiing; and a variety of new tools that ease the process of doing business on the show floor.
Industry sponsors include: Atomic, Betty Rides, Cross Country Ski Areas Association, CGPR, CrazeeHeads, Ski Metrix/Boosterstrap and Uvex. Media partners include: Hooked on the Outdoors, Mountain Sports Media, Ski Area Management, Ski Press Media and TransWorld Snowboarding. New this year is the support of Sam Adams, who will join Atomic and SIA in hosting the Super Bowl Party.

This is the first year that the SIA annual trade show is taking place at Mandalay Bay, a brand new convention center, built as an addition to the 3,300-room Four Diamond award-winning resort. It has 1.8 million square feet and is located directly on the Las Vegas Strip, within walking distance to 80,000 hotel rooms.
