MCLEAN, VA. (May 23, 2002) ¿ The SnowSports Industries America (SIA) Board of Directors today announced it has committed to a late February/beginning of March window for the 2004 show and future years. In addition, the SIA Board approved the dates and venue for the 2003 SIA Trade Show, Jan. 27 ¿ Jan. 30 at the new Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

“We heard our members and retail partners loud and clear,” said Hugh Harley, chairman of the board for SIA and president of Rossignol. “This is a compromise decision that reflects a great deal of discussion and thought. Scheduling conflicts at convention venues restricted our options for the dates of the 2003 show. The Mandalay Bay is a first class venue that represents an opportunity for us to inject energy and vitality into our national show. The new dates better accommodate the reality of our industry. Now everyone needs to support our national show and move forward.”
