Ross Hooker joins Arson All Weather Products

After a 16 year career with Salomon, most recently as the WesternCanadian Sales and Marketing Manager for the Salomon and Bonfire brands,Ross is leaving the company to partner with Glenn Taylor and Leslie Leeat ARSON ALL WEATHER PRODUCTS. Assuming the role of Vice PresidentSales, Marketing, and Business Development, Ross will oversee theinternational development and expansion of the Arson and Orb (Women’sspecific) brands, as well as identifying new growth opportunities forthe company.

Between 1989 and 1999 Ross was part of Salmon’s global launch of fivenew product categories including alpine skis, outdoor footwear,snowboards, snowboard clothing, and in-line skates. This provided forsome phenomenal growth within the Canadian organization, growth that infact that saw Ross play an instrumental role in the success of theSalomon brand in Canada. This success is well known throughout theSalomon organization worldwide and one that saw Salomon Canada’s salesconsistently outperform the U.S. subsidiary on a per capita basis. Ross’diversified experience has given him a broad understanding of sportsales, marketing and brand development. It will allow him to contributeimmensely to the targeted growth of ARSON sales and the necessarydevelopment of the Arson & Orb brands. He will oversee the sales andmarketing of the brands domestically and internationally, as well asbeing responsible for identifying new product and market opportunities.
