Ride Snowboards Graphic Art Contest Announced

Vashon, WA (September 15, 2003) – Ride Snowboards and artLink steamboatpresent Snowboard Art 2: A Graphics Competition in Steamboat Springs thisFebruary 2004. The Grand Prize Winner will receive a whopping $1000 cashprize AND have their winning design printed on their very own limitededition Ride snowboard. The remaining four boards (in the limited editionrun of five) will be used for fundraising purposes for the SurfriderFoundation’s Snowrider Project, a national outreach program that seeks toeducate snow-sport enthusiasts and alpine communities on theinterrelationship between our mountain and coastal environments and promotewatershed stewardship.

This international competition is open to all artists working in any 2-Dmedium designed to fit the Official Snowboard Template. The deadline toconfirm Intent to Enter is December 17th, 2003.
