Huntington Beach, California, — (NYSE:ZQK) Bob McKnight, Quiksilver chief executive officer, announced the appointment of Bill Bussiere to executive vice president of Wintersports, Mervin Manufacturing, Hawk Clothing and Wetsuits. “Bill is a vital part of our management team and the company is fortunate to have his experience and counsel,” says McKnight. In his expanded role, Bussiere will oversee all general management for each of the brands.
Bussiere joined Quiksilver in 1998 as senior vice president of Quiksilver Wintersports and Mervin Manufacturing. In 2000, Bussiere took on Wetsuits and the newly launched Hawk Clothing brand. “I look forward to continuing the process of taking these businesses to new levels, and welcome the challenges that lie ahead,” said Bussiere.
