January 4, 2002 – Portland, Oregon – Premier Snowskate*, the original and authentic manufacturer of quality snowskates*, announced today the launch of a national street marketing initiative with Los Angeles based A.D.D. Marketing and Advertising for the 2001/02 season. The campaign includes grass-roots event promotions as well as A.D.D.’s exclusive LAUNCH program and Video In Vert programs.
“Premier is excited to be working with A.D.D. and looks forward to taking it back to a grass roots level,” says Andy Wolf, Founder of Premier Snowskate.
Throughout the winter season, street teams from A.D.D. will be at select action sport events across the country creating a buzz for Premier by handing out stickers, flyers, catalogs, posters, T-shirts, and snowskates. The campaign is expected to showcase the Premier Snowskate brand name in front of thousands of winter action sport participants and build awareness for the sport.
Through A.D.D.’s exclusive LAUNCH program, A.D.D. will reach the “influencers” in the action sport world and inform and educate them on the sport of snowskating and the Premier brand. These influencers include the top independent action sport retailers in the country, top pro athletes (in wakeboarding, skateboarding, snowboarding, motocross, BMX & surfing), team managers, contest promoters, skatepark proprietors and more.
Additionally, Premier will be featured in Videos In Vert, A.D.D.’s exclusive music video/action sports in-store video play reel. Premier team riders will be featured alongside music artists such as Cypress Hill, P.O.D., and Sevendust. Videos In Vert will be distributed to over 600 retail boardshops and skateparks, as well as at action sport events all winter to local groms and contest winners.
“We could not be more excited to be working with Premier,” says Scott Leonard, CEO of A.D.D. Marketing and Advertising. “Their product is truly innovative and the merger of skate and snow in this way could not be any cooler. This is a dream client for us.”
Premier, the original snowskate manufacturer, launched in 1998. A snowskate, a board that is slightly wider and longer than a skateboard, is made of plastic with a channeled base for stability and tracking and a foam topsheet for grip.
Snowskates combines the design, physics and feeling of skateboarding and snowboarding and are for use on snow-covered sled hills and golf courses, snowskate parks, or even right in the backyard.
Premier Snowskates are currently available in specialty snow/skate shops worldwide and in select mail-order catalogs. Consumers can call 1-800-305-4138 or log on to www.premiersnowsk8.com to find a dealer near them.
