Washington, D.C./Portland, ME (January 22, 2003) – Octagon today announced the signing of snowboarders Hannah Teter and Elena Hight to representation agreements.

Teter, 15, is considered one of the emerging forces in snowboarding as exemplified by her recent placement on the coveted U.S. Snowboard Team. She is coming off back-to-back victories at major Grand Prix events in Park City and Breckenridge. The Okemo rider first surfaced at the 2002 U.S. Open earning three top-three placements, including a win in the “Best Trick” competition.

Octagon will be sharing representation responsibilities with Teter’s brother and manager, Amen Teter.

Hight, 13, exhibits a rare level of versatility for such a young rider. She is the reigning USASA National Champion in Slopestyle, Giant Slalom and Overall Combined, and captured two medals at the 2002 Junior World Championships. Currently attending SMS, Hight recently made her first professional podium appearance at the Grand Prix at Breckenridge.
