Mammoth Mountain was the host to this last stop of the Nike chosen for the finals.

Mammoth as always puts together an A+ set up, and the Nike Chosen set up was no different. The course consisted of a 60 foot jump and a rail garden with down bars, tubes, ¼ pipes, a wall ride, and a closeout, oh my…

The first part of the comp was the jump session. Weather wasn’t exactly ideal with flat light, wind, and some white stuff in the air, but that didn’t stop riders from chuckin their meat with some dubs. However the one dude to stand out was Yale Cousino’s back 12.

After the 2 heats of the jump session they did the same for the rail jam under the lights! Riders had to link tricks in a line to impress the judges Keir Dilon and Booby Meeks to make it to the finals. Ian Dobbs was high marking the wall while Cornell Agee laid his style on the 2 street style features in a row. They both made it to the 15 man finals with a heavy list of other riders. The riders had 20 minutes and were given snowmobile rides to get the final done right. Blasting out of the gate every one was throwin down. Michael Gray was doing 270’s on to the close out. Yale Cousino’s switch hardway backside 270 into the tube was sick. And John Murphy was one of the first 450’s over the rail to down box!

So many other bangers happened that I cant even remember, but in the end only one would end up with a trip to Austria, and that was Jaeger Bailey! Nike and Mammoth really put it together for a super fun event with a perfect park and some good Californian hospitality! Thanks guys!
