Three-year Alliance to Include ACG-designed Uniforms for Canadian SnowboardAthletes During 2002 Winter Games

Whistler, British Columbia ? December 11, 2000 ? Nike (NYSE: NKE) AllConditions Gear (ACG) has entered into a three-year partnership to serve asthe official apparel supplier to the Canadian Snowboard Federation (CSF).Through the agreement, Nike ACG will gain high-profile brand exposure andvaluable product feedback from among the world’s premier snowboardathletes.

The Canadian team members donned their new attire and celebrated thealliance with Nike, CSF and industry representatives at a reception heldFriday evening at the Garibaldi Lift Company in Whistler, B.C. The eventwas timed in conjunction with the season’s first North American FIS WorldCup snowboard competition, which took place in Whistler over the weekend.

Beginning this season, Nike ACG will be outfitting approximately 40 men andwomen riders on the Canadian National, Development and Junior teams. Theriders will be wearing the Nike ACG Performance Layering System (PLS), aseries of garments that work together to provide superior moisturemanagement, temperature regulation and protection from the elements.

The Canadian Snowboard Federation (CSF) is the national governing body forthe sport of competitive snowboarding in Canada.
