Nidecker Annouces Partnership With Dupont’s Kevlar

August 15, 2002, Rolle Switzerland, Nidecker announced in early spring that it will be the first exclusive strategic development partner of DuPont’s(tm) Kevlar(r) in the snowboard market. Kevlar is a material that is most commonly known for its use in bullet proof material. Kevlar is a fibrous material that molds easily with wood, fiberglass and carbon fiber. These products help a board retain its pop and flex. It is advances like these that allow Nidecker to continually produce the most advanced boards on the market. “I found that Nidecker’s technology combined with knowledgeable shapers and the perfect testing facility (the Swiss Alps) come together to make an extremely unique ride…” says Norman Kerr team manager and Nidecker Pro since 1998. Nidecker is constantly looking for technological advances that can keep them a step ahead of the industry standard.

Nidecker’s 02-03 line is in stores now, so contact your local Snowboard shop and check out a Nidecker board today.
