San Clemente, CA, /August 20, 1999 / — DynoComm Sports ChairmanAlan Gibby announced today that Wayne Smith has been promoted toPresident of the company. Smith will be responsible for overseeing theSports Production firm which was established in 1982 and has produced over1200 TV Sports Specials.

Joining DynoComm in 1986, Smith, 39, served as Vice President andCoordinating Producer of many key DynoComm productions in the Snow, Skateand Surf categories. He has also directed the production of severalmulti-year TV series including 3Hawaiian Sports Adventure” and the 3IJSBAWatercraft Tour.” In an effort to always provide better angles for the homeTV viewer, Smith personally designed the special housings and in-car camswhich have become trademarks of DynoComm’s Emmy award winning sportscoverage.
A native of Redondo Beach, California, Smith still manages to findtime for participation in the sports DynoComm televises. He has never lefthis surfing roots where he spent some time as a surfboard shaper. He is anaccomplished snowboarder. Smith is a resident of San Clemente where heresides with his wife of 18 years, Karen, and their two children.
