Back in 2008 three Seattle friends set out to make a snowboard video, As Green as it Gets. Now 5 years later Austen Sweetin, Austin Hironaka, and Tommy Little are back together again to premiere the new TransWorld SNOWboarding move, Nation, the first time they have all worked together since High School.

All their friends and family came out to show their support. With a packed house we unfortunately had to turn people away at the door when we reached capacity. The event was held at EVO’s new shop in Fremont. This was their first premiere that was held there, and from the turn out from the event we’re sure there’s going to be many more to come. There was an art show, live painting, a concert from Scott Sullivan, a POW raffle and they premiered two snowboarding films.

Yes Missions opened up the night and got the crowd hyped and Scott Sullivan followed up to kept the party going. Nation followed up and the crowd made it clear whenever a shot from the Northwest came up on the screen. We closed out the night with a raffle thanks to YES., Zeal, Analog, Artschool, Protect Our Winters, Summit at Snoqualmie, the Levitation Project, The North Face, Ninkasi Brewing, Whistler, NOW and evo for making sure the crowd didn’t leave empty handed. By the end of the night you could feel that winter was right around the corner and Seattle was ready for it. The premiere also raised $4,000 for POW

“To have both our mom’s show up along with a ton of homies on top of the people who support the snowboard community around here was insane!!” – Austin Hironaka

Pick up your copy of Nation in a limited 100 page photo book at a local shop near you, or download it from iTunes.
