Steve Tully, formerly of Ocean Pacific Apparel, has been named national sales manager for Orlux Distribution, the exclusive U.S. distributor of Vuarnet-France Eyewear.

The North Face welcomes Conrad B. Tappert to the position of general manager of The North Face (Canada), Inc. based in Toronto, Ontario. Tappert will assume overall responsibility for developing the Canadian market, including sales and marketing, distribution, and finance. The company has also hired Ashley Devery as their public relations manager. Avery will be responsible for distributing samples and press kits, and working with the media.

Cold As Ice women’s snowboard apparel has added a number of new reps. The marketing department of Ride Snowboards is pleased to announce the addition of Pam Williams to their team. As production coordinator, she will be responsible for scheduling advertising for Ride, Liquid, Cappel clothing, and Preston Bindings in the U.S. and international markets, as well as production of all printed materials.

Earlier this year Steve Cathey left the Northwest and Sims for Southern California. It didn’t take long for him to land a job and adjust to the sunny southern region¿he’s now president of Silence.
