Mountain Movers: Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows
The next Mountain Movers—Gunny and Snow Park Technologies TV show—was filmed in Lake Tahoe at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows where SPT crews battled it out and had the riders judge which park crew could make the funnest set up.
“Every single project we do as a company, we treat like a team effort, but on this particular project, because of the timing and the way we set it up, I truly have no idea what these guys are planning,” said Chris “Gunny” Gunnarson, owner of Snow Park Technologies. “For me to completely let go of the reigns is definitely hard. But, in a lot of ways, this is an important test to see how our crew can handle being totally on their own without me getting super involved.”
“Judgment Day” the final episode to air Thursday, June 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The National Geographic Channel. In the meantime, take a behind the scenes look at what went down with these photos featuring Mark McMorris, Jamie Anderson, Torstein Horgmo, Eero Ettala, Charles Reid, and Heikki Sorsa.
