In 1999 Jeff Patterson was in Whistler, BC for the Westbeach Classic when he ended up with tickets to the fledgling Pro Photographer Showdown, then held in the tiny venue of the Crystal Lounge (today a couple thousand people pack into the Telus Conference Center for it). Jeff had just picked up his first legit camera and was so hyped by what he saw that he started shooting when he wasn’t building terrain parks. Six years ago he began shooting full time and this year was finally chosen as a finalist for the Showdown, a dream he had since the beginning. Here is nine minutes of the best of his work from the last six years.
