  • Tiger Says:

    looks like a sweet session.

  • Bryce Says:

i totally 100% agree. i mean dont get me wrong, i think its awesome that people take thier photograghy and videography seriously. i mean what else would we all get stoked to ride on? but seriously.. if your not snowboarding, dont make yoursleves look like a fool and be a poser by dressing the way the media has shaped the image of what a “snowboarder should look like”. i think its actually pathetic. to be honest. i dont care if these people snowboard in thier spare time aswell, as do we all but. when your taking pictures of stuff. try to dress normal.. i mean taking a picture with goggles on youre forhead looks bit off without the added aspect of u actually taking part in the sport. hence the snow boot they are all wearing… it just makes me sad what the media does these days,… dress like yourself you dumbasses.. its not THAT fucking hard to do.

  • William Kavanagh Says:

have you even been to mount hood? do you have any idea how bright that sun is? goggles are necessary if you don’t want to literally burn out your retinas. also it’s a fun place with the nicest people on earth and nobody judges you on what you wear. so fuck you for saying anything negative about any of these kids who i was privileged to spend time with.

  • pinkcougar42 Says:

okay seriously bryce- if you want to go up to 8,000 feet in 90 degrees sun no clouds and try to look through a lens and view your screen without goggles or sunglasses on- be my guest. but youve just seriously pissed me off. you dont know any of us. you dont know what mt. hood is like obviously because youre judging us. we wear goggles because its bright as fuck. we wear snowpants cause we have to lay in the snow. we obviously all love snowboarding enough to take the time to learn about all of this. dont act like youre some high and mighty sh*t- and even if you are a great snowboarding, sponsored and all- you’ll get nowhere without a photog taking your pics and submitting them to mags.
i DO dress like myself. dont piss me off again.

  • pinkcougar42 Says:

and sylvain- who are you to say who is a poser? what makes us posers? because we wear goggles and snowpants? seriously, grow up.

  • pinkcougar42 Says:

and ps bryce- we wear effing snowboots because we effing snowboard. its not like we magically get to the top of the mountain and just poof down to the bottom. shove off, man.

  • meghankirk Says:

    that was fun (:
yeah I’m a poser. I shouldn’t have worn my boots, ya know? I mean I think walking down the hill with my torn up vans while carrying my gear and lying in the snow with my jeans and white t might have made me look cooler and get Bryce’s approval cause that’s what I’ve been striving for my ENTIRE life. Thanks for calling me out, won’t happen again love <3

  • meghankirk Says:

Thank you for putting this up transworld!

  • hrae Says:

who do u think you are to judge who we are as people. where in the media is it telling us to act and dress this way. most of us are snowboarders first, photographers second. i knew how to ride before i even held a camera and your calling me a poser?
up on mt hood we need goggles to see, and if there sitting on the top of our heads, whatever! maybe we needed to see more clearly. why is it a big deal?
and the snowgear… we snowboard while we are there too! hence the snowboard camp!
we are just privileged enough to learn from the best and shoot the best.
    stop being so immature.

  • matt sepeta Says:

At least all-over prints are not “cool” anymore… sigh…

You guys have to see what he is talking about, at least a little. The kids who put as much thought into what they will wear while snowboarding as they do the actual snowboarding.

Nice pics though, I like seeing am stuff posted! Good work

  • hrae Says:

what does it matter if someone puts some thought into what they wear…. doesnt everyone everyday?
so because u throw on some hanus outfit… that makes u better then us?

its unbelievable how rude u guys are to just come in here and bash on us.
i can tell you guys are some real chilled out snowboarders.

  • kfunk Says:

All I have to say is you guys rocked it out at camp regardless of what you were wearing ;) Who wants to wear skate shoes in snow? And you know what..a lot of the snowboard gear coming out is sick, who doesn’t wanna wear neon pink googles? I know when I board it’s about being comfy, and if it so happens that comfy coat is “trendy” so be it. I know from my friend all the students at HC all had a deep passion for snowboarding and it does go hand in hand with photography, and art for that matter. You guys did some awesome work and should be proud of it..don’t listen to this kid whose nuts haven’t even dropped yet.
