Grenade Games 2011 at Bear Mountain

Big Bear Mountain hosted the Seventh Annual Grenade Games March 26-27. Olympic medalist, Danny Kass and friends rolled up in their RV to host what has been referred to as “snowboarding’s ultimate shredding debauchery”. The event meshes industry celebrities, live music events, VIP after-parties and thrilling outdoor competition over the course of two days.

The Grenade Games course, built by Clayton Shoemaker and the Bear Mountain crew, featured  a channel gap, quarterpipe, mini pipes, big kickers, little kickers, dual slalom course, mogul field, and an infamous pond skim. The open jam session let riders session simultaneously leaving no jump, jib, or rail untouched. Chris Bradshaw, Keegan Valaika, Danny Kass, The Dingo, Zak Haleand Dustin Craven were all in attendance along with a laundry list of other top riders.
