Overview:
Fight your way to the top of your weight class, win the championship—and the ladies.

Gameplay:
Fight Night 3 has a fluidity about it that can’t be explained. It feels real and almost futuristic to some extent, especially with the use of the first-person mode. The controls are easy to get used to, but since every punch is controlled with the stick, after a while your thumb might feel like it’s going to fall off. Somehow this pain helped me relate to the boxers in the game, so I refused to reconfigure the controller. In the end, I earned the title and a swollen thumb.

Graphics:
Everything looks good on the Xbox 360, but this game is in a class of its own. Once you connect a good punch and see the slow-mo you’ll know what I mean.

Sound:
Consequence, Young Roscoe, Obie Trice, Brasco, Dipset, Dilated Peoples, Slic One, Roc “C, Atmosphere, Sean Biggs featuring Akon & Topic, Kray Twinz featuring D&G, and L.T.D.A.

Players: 1—2
