Palmer will represent Fusion.com at major sporting events and through his personal MicroVanity site, which will be hosted by Fusion.com. Palmer celebrated this new partnership and confirmed his dominance in action sports today by winning the first event, the skiercross, at ESPN’s Winter X Games in Mt. Snow, Vt.
Palmer, 31, is one of the most recognized and progressive athletes in the action sports world. He is the International Snowboard Federation (ISF) World Boardercross Champion and competes professionally in snowboarding, mountainbiking and motorcross. Palmer, who consistently wins major events in snowboarding, skiing, motocross and mountain biking, is favored to dominate this year’s Winter X Games.

Since he started snowboarding professionally in 1985, Palmer has won countless events including several Swatch World Boardercross Tours and the 1999 Men’s Boadercross at the ESPN Winter X Games. In 1995 he founded Palmer Snowboards and is credited for inventing the “Palm air” and the “one-footed air” snowboard tricks. As a major competitor in mountain biking, he won the World Cup Downhill at Big Bear, Calif. and the Norba Dual Slalom Mountain Bike race at Mammoth Mountain, Calif. last year.
