Early Season Snow in Mammoth
This past weekend, Mother Nature blanketed Mammoth Mountain with a nice fresh coat of early season flurries. Above the 9000′ range, close to three inches fell, and photographer Peter Morning captured these artsy images of the frozen stuff. This was the second measurable snowfall in Mammoth this year, which is set to open for the winter season on November 11. We’re anxiously awaiting those first turns of the season, and these snowy pics have us jonsing for winter to arrive.
