Truckee, CA – On February 1, Forum Snowboard Company is bringing their Youngblood Competition to Northstar-at-Tahoe. This is no ordinary slopestyle competition. The purpose of this event is to provide a worldwide open invitational amateur competition series that provides a contest environment in which kids focus the fun of snowboarding together.

The contest will feature two age groups and is for snowboarders only. Registration is from 7:30 a.m to 9:30 a.m. in the Chaparral Room in the Northstar Village the day of the event. There is no cost to enter this event, but each rider must purchase a lift ticket unless they have a season pass. A total of 65 spots are available for the Youngblood competition, 25 contestants 14 years and younger and 40 contestants 15 years and older.

All riders will receive Youngblood related gear while the first place winner gets a new 2002-2003 Forum Youngblood board, boots and bindings along with an automatic entrance into the Forum Championship at Big Bear Resort in Southern California, plane ticket & lodging provided.
