HOOD RIVER, Ore., April 1, 2003 – DaKine is proud to announce the addition of three new team riders to its International Team. New recruits include Markku Koski, Chris Coulter, and Wolle Nyvelt.

Markku Koski comes to DaKine from Finland. At the 2002 U.S. Open the Scandinavian landed a 1440! Do your math folks. That’s 4 full rotations! More recently, in Transworld issue16.6, Markku was listed as one of sixteen riders to recognize. Keep your eyes out this fall as solid sources have revealed that Markku should have one of the strongest segments in the new Standard Films movie. Markku’s other sponsors include Lib-Tech, Quiksilver, 32, and Etnies.

Chris Coulter made an impressive mark in the industry last year with a solid part in Happy Hour. Right now, Chris is busy filming for the new Kingpin film. Coulter was also just featured in Transworld issue 16.6 as one of sixteen riders to recognize. Coulter is most commonly known for his talent on the rails, but he’s also been known to throw down hard in the backcountry. Chris, originally from New Mexico, now lives in SLC. His other sponsors include Elevation, Vans, Anon, Milo, Park City, and TechNine.

Wolle Nyvelt comes to DaKine from the Austrian Alps. Everyone took notice of Wolle last year with his amazing segment in Vivid. Right now, Wolle is busy traveling and filming for the new Absinthe film. Rumor has it that he’ll have one of the strongest segments in the film this year. Wolle’s coverage in the mags is hardly lacking as he currently is on the cover of Onboard issue #56. Wolle is one of Europe’s most respected riders. His other sponsors include Salomon and Billabong.
