The 2003-2004 ski and snowboard season is just weeks away

Denver, CO, Oct. 13, 2003…Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) re-designed its website, www.coloradoski.com, in preparation for the 2003-2004 ski and snowboard season. The new site features a new and improved snow report found on each page, an innovative system to find lodging across the state, and a home base for deals offered at all member resorts.

With a new and clean look that is easy to navigate, www.coloradoski.com offers everything needed to research and plan the perfect winter get-away to Colorado—the capital of winter sports. The re-design helps the visitor find extensive information on all 24 member resorts with just a few clicks.

The newest feature on the site found at http://www.coloradoski.com/lodging/, enables users to research lodging for all 24 Colorado ski resorts. The application, built by and exclusively for CSCUSA, allows users to navigate lodging options through a series of resort and town maps. Users now follow a natural and intuitive set of steps that help to pinpoint a desired destination on a map and then drill down to specific lodging options based on user needs such as location, price and amenities.

Coloradoski.com also acts as a clearinghouse for resort and lodging deals. Resorts work together with the lodging industry to populate the site with terrific packages. And, CSCUSA has developed the technology to deliver appropriate deals based on the user’s visitation patterns.

As always, the site also offers resort contact information, event calendars, ski school/daycare information, mountain statistics, resort pass information, CSCUSA contests, youth programs, and links to all 24 Colorado resort web sites.

Last year www.coloradoski.com had 3.5 million page visits, a 40 percent increase over the previous year.

CSCUSA’s phone snow report, 303/825-SNOW, will be up and running in mid-November as well as the on-line snow report for all 24 resorts at www.coloradoski.com. Sign up for E-snow and Colorado Ski Country USA will deliver timely snow reports to your in-box every day.

Colorado Ski Country USA is the non-profit trade association representing Colorado’s 24 ski & snowboard resorts. Information about the organization and its members can be found at www.coloradoski.com.
