Denver, CO — May 27, 2003…Ashley Boyden is the new media relations coordinator for Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA), announced Rob Perlman, CSCUSA president and CEO.

Boyden will be responsible for all media relations, including spearheading the national media campaign in New York, Illinois, Florida, Texas and California.

Before joining the CSCUSA team, Boyden worked in the product management department for Vail Resorts at the corporate office in Lakewood. Working in sales and customer service for Vail’s five resorts, Boyden learned the fundamentals of the ski industry in Colorado.

Boyden initiated her interest in public relations at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kan. where she graduated from the school of journalism with emphasis in strategic communications. Boyden then studied public relations as an intern at the Center for Opportunity in Washington, DC.

Boyden has also done freelance work in public relations for Denver non-profit organizations. She is the public relations coordinator for the Rocky Mountain Vintage Grand Prix, which benefits Kids in Need of Dentistry, and serves on the public relations/ special events committees for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and the Denver Rescue Mission.
