Chorus, manufacturer of progressive, innovative snowboards designed specifically for women has announced a re-launch of the popular line, to debut at the upcoming Action Girl Show, August 19-21 in Long Beach, California. Re-entering the market with a splash, the brand is sponsoring the Chorus Pro Lounge as well as the show’s Half Pipe and will be debuting skateboards and surfboards under the Chorus name.

Original team riders Cara-Beth Burnside and Leslee Olson have resigned contracts with Chorus and are joined by pro surfers Falina Spires and Jamilah Star.

Founded in October 2000 by professional, world-class female athletes, Chorus began manufacturing top quality snowboards for women only — built with women in mind, offering customized flex and shape as well as unique graphics that appealed to today’s female athletes.

Chorus was pulled off the market during a brief hiatus as the former parent company restructured and the brand was purchased by Motiv Sports, a specialty sporting goods company based in Southern California. Motiv not only made a commitment to revive the Chorus snow brand, but also developed Chorus skate and surf products, at the request of team riders and to meet growing demand from dealers looking for superior products for active women.

Chorus is now poised to re-enter the market with a full line of Spring/ Summer apparel, a full line of accessories and bags, as well as new surfboards and a signature model skateboard, designed by Chorus Team Rider Cara-Beth Burnside. Snowboards and outerwear apparel will make their debut later this season.

“As more women enter the active sports market, the demand for quality, unique product increases,” says Jim Alfaro, Chorus Brand Manager. “Chorus was definitely the pioneer in offering inspired product girls could identify with — that’s the passion we will continue.”
