Once upon a time in Newport, California, there was a video premiere. But it was not just any video premiere. Oh no, it was far from that. This premiere was for Burton’s new video, 13. And when Burton does something, you know it’s going to be good.

Before the movie kicked off at the Lido Theater, Burton through a little pre-premiere party at their SoCal showroom in Costa Mesa. This party was tight. There were pros, bros, babes, and beers. You really can’t go wrong when you have those things. Once all of the above were tapped out, it was time to make the mile treck to the Lido Theater in downtown Newport to watch some killer snowboarding.

The movie kicks off with Mikkel Bang. It’s hard to believe that Mikkel is only 22, because he’s been in the mix for so long. He has fully stepped up his snowboarding, and proves that he fully deserves to be where he is. His part is sick. No spoilers here though. If you want to know what he did, you’re going to have to watch it.

Other standout parts of 13 are Zak Hale, Ethan Deiss, and the winch. Mark Sollors and Terje Haakonsen also have really sick parts. It’s crazy that Terje is still shredding as hard as he is after all of these years. He’s an inspiration.

In all actuality though, the craziest part about 13 is the fact that Jussi Oksansen and Jeremy Jones are still killing it as hard as they are. Age has not slowed these dudes down at all. In fact, I would go out on a limb and say that right now, both of these guys are producing some of the heaviest parts of their respective careers. And neither of them have last part. No hints here on who has it though. Well, here’s one hint. You won’t guess who it is.
