Burlington, VT — Burton recently hired Jeff Gilberti to assume the role of Anon Business Unit Director and promoted former Burton Glove Product Manager Jeff Baillargeon to Business Unit Director of Gloves and Bags.
On the Anon front, Jeff Gilberti started early in November and has already made a significant impact on the Anon brand. Most recently, Jeff was with Spy Optics where he was in charge of all optics, including glasses and goggles. As the Vice President of Manufacturing at Spy, Jeff oversaw product development, purchasing and production. Prior to this, Jeff was at Smith Sport Optics for over seven years where he most recently held a position as Global Brand Manager. At Smith, Jeff significantly contributed to the growth in sunglass sales, which increased exponentially under Jeff’s leadership.
At Anon, Jeff will oversee the strategy, conception, development and manufacturing of all Anon products. He will manage a staff, work with a team of pro athletes on product development and strive to meet aggressive growth goals. Jeff’s 14+ years of experience managing brands and product lines as well as his diverse background in strategic planning, brand building, marketing management, design and manufacturing make him the ideal person to grow the Anon brand.
Back in Burton Softgoods, Jeff Baillargeon was recently promoted to the role of Business Unit Director of Gloves and Bags. Jeff has been at Burton for nearly five years, working from the ground up as a Rider Service Representative to his current position that will place him in charge of Burton’s entire bag and glove line. In Jeff’s most recent role as Glove Product Category Manager, he introduced progressive products, including the AK Guide Glove and the Continuum Fuse Mitt, and restructured the glove line for easier sell-in to retailers. After three years as a Product Manager, Jeff is well prepared for his new job where he will oversee the brand direction of gloves and bags, including pricing, development, sourcing and quality control. He will also manage a staff of two product mangers, work closely with Burton Marketing and Sales departments and continue to expand and evolve Burton’s bag and glove line.
Burton welcomes Jeff Gilberti to Anon and congratulates Jeff Baillargeon on his recent promotion. Consumers can learn more about Burton Snowboards by calling Burton Rider Service: (800) 881-3138.
