BURTON ADDS TO NORTH AMERICAN SALES FORCE
In preparation for the upcoming snowboarding season, Burton has recently enhanced its North American Sales force. Jasen Bowes was recently promoted to the role of Managing Sales Rep in the Northwest region. Previously, Bowes was a Sales Rep in the inter-mountain zone of Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Utah. Since the 2002 Winter Olympics were in his territory this past winter, Bowes also helped with promotions and events surrounding the Games. In his new position as Managing Sales Rep, Bowes will be responsible for Burton sales, distribution and servicing Burton retailers in the entire Northwest region. Bowes has been working for Burton since 1999 and has been riding for 15 years. He’s dedicated to snowboarding and looks forward to growing the sport in his new territory. Now that Bowes has moved to the Northwest, Krista Moroge will be the new Sales Rep in the inter-mountain region, including Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Utah. She will manage Burton sales and distribution and service Burton retailers in her territory. New to Burton, Krista has five years of direct sales experience in the boards sports industry and a killer snowboarding background. Moroge has coached and taught snowboarding professionally at Snowbird, Brighton and Steamboat as well as won several contests herself. She can be reached at (801) 556-4026.
Tony Perez will continue working as a Sales Assistant in the inter-mountain region. He will be working for Krista Moroge.
In Canada, Scott Currie’s territory will expand to include the Prairies Territory, which consists of Manitoba and Saskatchewan. And Lance Webb will be looking after Northwestern Ontario.
In the Southeast, Buck Rowley’s sales territory, which previously included the Carolinas, Georgia and Tennessee will now expand to include Florida and Mississippi.
And finally, in the Rockies, Darin Maroni has joined John Damiano’s sales force and will be representing Burton in New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Darin has relocated his office to Santa Fe, New Mexico where he can be reached at (505) 986 0225.
