BK Sports is proud to announce the signing of 2 emerging riders, Mason and Molly Aguirre. For the past few years they both have dominated their respective age categories in their local region of Duluth, MN. Both Mason (15) and Molly (18) have had incredible success at the Nationals, dating back to 1998. In those 5 seasons, both have placed on the podium all but one year each, where they finished 4th in those respective events.

This season, they decided to step up to the pro ranks. They moved to Mammoth for easier access to training, and it has paid off. In their first event of the season, the Vans Triple Crown _ pipe at Breckenridge, Molly and Mason both finished in 5th place. This was no fluke, however, as Molly finished 10th in the Park City Grand Prix, while Mason did not compete. Then, this past weekend in Breckenridge, Molly continued her strong riding with a 5th place and Mason finished 6th at the Grand Prix.

“I see kids like the Aguirres as the future of competitive snowboarding. They have 100% family support and it shows with the great results and consistency they are putting up. I am excited to help them make the transition from flow to pro on the business side. They are definitely ready for the jump.” Said Bob Klein, owner of BK Sports. “The Aguirres embody everything sponsors are looking for; youth, results, personality and sad to say, looks. These kids look good!”

Look for more from Molly and Mason soon, as they are sure to keep up the momentum!
