Cofounder Chris Chapman now wheeling and dealing all-women’s brand in OR, WA and AK.
Portland, Oregon-based BETTY RIDES Snowboard Apparel has tapped Chris Chapman to lead their NW sales force. A Canadian and longtime Portlander who helped found both the Ton A’ WaWa and BETTY RIDES Snowboard Apparel brands, Chapman is in prime condition to bring quick response and greater customer care to the region.
“I have worked with previous NW reps all along so I know their territory,” says ChapmanÐwhich includes the best tree runs from Hood to Whistler. Additional support has been hired to cover day-to-day operations in the office, freeing up Chapman to hit the road and show with enthusiasm. Appointments now open for line showings and shred sessions.
A snowboarder since the beginning, previously Chapman worked at Jantzen Sportswear before helping found BETTY RIDES, one of the top-selling all-women’s brands in the world. He has worked in all facets of company development and will be especially valuable to the NW’s more knowledgeable buyers, helping them tell the goods from the schwag.
