Telluride Snowboard Instructors to be Outfitted in the Original “Goggle”

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. (February, 2002) Arnette and the Telluride Ski Resort today announced a partnership that will have the skiing professionals at the Southwestern Colorado ski haven working, teaching and skiing in Arnette’s original snowboard specific eyewear, the Goggle. This working relationship brings two unique members of the snow sports community together in a mutually beneficial agreement.

Jim Pinkerton, Arnette Brand Manager, says of the new partnership, “We are thrilled with this agreement. Telluride is a great place to snowboard and a truly wonderful resort. Having top instructors, like the Telluride snowboard crew, out there using our products will provide the Arnette brand with tremendous exposure.”

Telluride Marketing Manager, Gregg Bagni, adds “We’re proud of all that Telluride has to offer and we’re glad to be affiliated with a core snowboarding brand like Arnette.”

The Arnette “Goggle” was the first snowboarding specific eyewear to appear on the market and remains Arnette’s most popular item to date. Its unique design, featuring a wide-angle lens, offers an unsurpassed field of vision, both vertically and side-to-side. This insures riders will see and be seen while shredding the slopes or hitting the halfpipe.

Beginning today, snowboard instructors at the Telluride Ski Resort will be wearing the Goggle, a staple of Arnette team riders around the globe. Offering superb performance in even the most adverse weather conditions, the Goggle will support the efforts of one of the Rockies elite snowboard schools. In turn, Telluride provides Arnette with the perfect platform to prove its product performance value.

The Telluride Ski Resort is located in the heart of the San Juan Mountain Range, in beautiful Telluride, Colorado. With a maximum elevation of 12,260 feet, a vertical drop of 3,500 feet and over 300 inches of annually snowfall, this alpine wonderland has consistently impressed skiers from around the world with its challenging terrain and stunning vistas.
