Irvine, CA – Jerry Lund, Analog clothing’s new General Manager, has spent the last 30 years turning small action sports brands into major players. Beginning at G&S in the mid-1970’s, Lund drove sales to new heights at both Ocean Pacific and Rusty. A San Diego native and devoted surfer, Lund has made an overwhelming impact on the surf industry and is looking forward to segueing into the snowboarding and skateboarding markets.
As the GM of Analog, Jerry will oversee the company’s sales, marketing and merchandising efforts. In addition to developing a global vision for Analog, Lund will manage the brand’s employees and team of pros at Analog’s new headquarters located in Irvine, California.
“I’m so excited to be a part of Analog,” says Jerry Lund, Analog’s General Manager. “I’m looking forward to working with a Burton brand, as well as the challenge of taking a young brand to new heights. I love it that the Analog team is marketing their brand from a different perspective. And I’m really stoked to be working with such a talented, innovative and passionate group of people.”
Lund’s previous business experience, including being a CPA, makes him an ideal choice to head up the Analog brand. During his tenure at Ocean Pacific, he nearly quadrupled in annual sales. From there, he piloted Rusty from a mere start-up to a big name in surf apparel.
“I couldn’t be more excited to work with Jerry Lund,” says Laurent Potdevin, Burton’s President. “He has a great understanding of our industry and the needs of a growing brand. His experience of leading large brands to and through their strongest years of growth will be invaluable to Analog. On top of it all, his down-to-earth personality and proven leadership abilities will be a welcome addition to the staff at Analog and Burton Senior Management crew.”
