All the packs have been redesigned with new materials and features to make carrying your essentials on the hill even easier and more comfortable. The 1999 highlights include the new Frontier pack, a mid-size pack with top- and side-access capabilities. The Frontier and the new Heli-Pro also integrate the new Cross Carrier board-carrying system, along with the proven vertical board carrier. The new Guide pack is loaded with features and designed by top Alaskan heli guides. The Poacher, Day Tripper, and Heli Pack have all been fine-tuned.

Da Kine continues to offer innovative leash, traction, and tuning supplies for all riding needs. The wax program has grown, including more varieties and sizes of iron-on, rub-on, and spray waxes to keep you gliding past your friends.

New tools and redesigned tuning kits help you keep your boards at their optimum performance level. The ever-expanding Da Kine glove line includes 22 different styles of gloves and mitts. Seven new Gore-Tex styles lead the charge offering the most waterproof and breathable designs available. Features such as wiper blades, snot patches, and the new ’biner loop are mixed in to create gloves for all-condition performance. A new woman’s glove and woman’s mitt fit the special needs of women riders. The popular Da Kine wrist guard returns to offer a clean, simple, solid wrist protection compatible with any glove.

Boots

Deeluxe is Raichle’s soft-boot line. It offers a complete line to fit every need. Liners are Raichle’s specialty and it constantly pushes to improve the fit of the boots.

This year Deeluxe offers a choice of three different liners: First, the CPD tongue, made of Thermoflex with heel reinforcement and integrated L pads. All edges are piped to protect the material and can be found in the Royal Flush boot or sold separately.

Second, is the CDP overlap, Deeluxe’s original Thermoflex liner with a face lift and the same features found on the tongue.

Third, is the Classic liner, an alternative to Thermaflex. A speedy lacing system and integrated L pads are complemented by a two-color mesh design outside.

These liners come on the following boots: The Royal Flush with an arch system is available with only the Thermoflex. The Straight Flush (Ali Goulet signature model) is for freestyle and has an arch-support system with the choice of Thermoflex and conventional liners. It’s also available in a women’s version. The Full House is an all-mountain boot with the conventional liner only.

The Ace CL and SL are step-in compatible boots for Switch and Clicker sysytems. These are available in women’s versions and a choice of Thermoflex or conventional liner.

Deeluxe’s linerless boots include the Five Card freestyle with arch-support system, the High Card for all-mountain riding, the Ace C and S for Switch/Clicker systems, the Ace XC for Clicker highback systems, and the entry level/rental Poker.
