LOS ANGELES, September26, 2002 — 686, a leader in technical snowboard outerwear, is proud to announce the addition of Chris Engelsman to the 02/03 International Team. Chris will join Gaetan Chanut, Stephen Duke, Charlie Morace, Aleksi Vanninen and Travis Williams.

Chris brings 12 years of riding experience to the team and is currently riding for Elevation Snowboards, Dragon Optical, Dakine, and Northwave/Drake. In the 2001/2002 season, Chris was voted number 9 in snowboarder magazine’s Rider of the year Poll and 8th in Transworld Business’s Exposure Meter for 2002.

“686 is a company that is focused on snowboard clothing,” says Chris. “My life completely revolves around snowboarding, and I’m proud to call them part of my family. 686 has a great program. The team is killer and the company has been true to snowboarding since day one. I’m glad to be apart of it.”
