PARK CITY, UT — Online athlete registration is available for the 2004 Chevy Truck U.S. Snowboard Grand Prix at making it easier and faster to sign up for the competitions.

In its eighth season as the premier snowboard series in the world, the Grand Prix delivers national coverage on NBC, over $300,000 in an overall tour purse and top musical entertainment, like the Red Hot Chili Peppers live at Park City Mountain Resort at last season’s first event.

Action begins at Utah’s Park City Mountain Resort Dec. 19-21 before moving to California’s Mammoth Mountain Jan. 9-11 and closes with a new stop at New Jersey’s Mountain Creek Resort Feb. 6-8, less than an hour from New York City. Preparations also are underway for concerts at both Park City and Mountain Creek.

As the road to the Olympics, the Grand Prix series features the best pipes and the toughest snowboard cross and parallel giant slalom courses along with the hottest riders in the world all vying for thousands of dollars in cash prizes.
