Best Men’s and Women’s Snowboard Boots of 2016-2017
Looking for the best men’s and women’s snowboard boots for 2016-2017? Arguably the most important piece of a setup, boots are also the most personal. No one boot is right for everyone. We tested what felt like a gondola worth of freeride and freestyle boots in all types of terrain between the Cascades, Sierras, Rockies, East Coast, Alaska, even Iceland. Traditional lace, speed lace, and Boa models were all given time to shine and were judged based on things like flex, comfort, footbed construction, and durablity to determine which could hold up best when throwing down. Whether soft and surfy, stiff and responsive, or between, these boots comfortably shredded their way to the top for 2017.
This new model wowed our testers with its perfect mix of flex and support.
