World's Top Snowboarders to Compete at the 33rd Annual Burton US Open in Vail

Once again, for the 33rd year, the most legendary and one of the most prestigious contests in snowboarding history returns to Vail, Colorado. The Burton US Open is a coveted contest that has been one of, if not the most hyped contest of the season for many years and what better place to hold this amazing contest than the beautiful, vast mountains of Vail , Colorado. With over 5,200 available acres of terrain, Vail holds to be one of the biggest and most bountiful mountain in the US. The event will consist of the world’s best riders getting down on the halfpipe and the slopestyle course all day. At night, stay tuned for all kinds of  free activities and concerts for all ages including Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and Girl Talk. 

Burton recently announced that Danny Davis, Mark McMorris, Chloe Kim, Silje Norendal, Kelly Clark, Stale Sandbech, Ayumu Hirano, Jamie Anderson, Enni Rukajärvi, Maxence Parrot,  Roope Tonteri, Darcy Sharpe, Christian Haller, Greg Bretz, and Ben and Gabe Ferguson will all be attending and competing in the events. What a lineup!

Kelly Clark is really looking forward to the Open and says, "The US Open is one of the best events of the season—everyone has been riding all season and they get to showcase their efforts. If there ever was a peak in riding during the year, it's at the Open."
