We rounded up the submissions for the Your Turn Photo Contest  theme of “Sequence This” and we’re ready to announce the winner. There was a lot of rapid fire with the cameras and plenty of time spent on Photoshop. The decision was challenging, but in the end a winning sequence has to include the takeoff and landing. The entry that won was created by Matt Palmer, for his photo of Chris White doing an inverted tree to tree transfer.

Matt explained, “It had been an exceptionally dry January in Tahoe and I was running out of time to come up with a unique shot for the photo contest. With twenty-four hours to spare, my friend Chris White responded and told me about this idea for an “Invert Tree Transfer”  located right outside his front door.  The snow was extremely difficult to build with, but we were able to fire off a few sequences before the lip self destructed.  I told him I wouldn’t submit the photo unless he stuck it with a grab.  He didn’t disappoint.”

Matt Palmer wins a photo prize pack; including a Burton Snowboard photo pack and Celtek photo mittens, as well as being entered into the final drawing for the grand prize: a trip to High Cascade Photo Camp this summer! Congratulations Matt!
