January 10, 2003: Waterville Valley continues to cater to kids of all ageswith a new, covered skateboard ramp. The only one of its kind at a resortin New Hampshire, the ramp is located next to the Base Lodge and is 16 ftwide by 4 ft. high with a spine. The ramp is open from 1 PM to 4 PM daily, and admission is free with a liftticket or Threedom Pass. Helmets are required, and kids 18 and under willneed a parent or guardian to sign a release form.

“We think kids will be stoked to skate our new ramp,” said Mike BetterraPark and Events Manager at Waterville Valley. “I’ve been wanting to do thisfor a couple years, and we got it together this season. Parents will bepsyched because their kids will definitely be worn out by the end of theday.”
