Carlsbad, CA -TransWorld SNOWboarding announced today that Mark Wiitanen and Ashley Barker have been brought on board to bolster the title’s visual department. Wiitanen will serve as the title’s new video production manager, while Barker has signed on as senior photographer.
Wiitanen has relocated to TransWorld SNOWboarding‘s home office in Carlsbad, California, from his native Cleveland, Ohio, where he worked at Autumn Line Films directing Technicolour and Montevideo. In his new role, Wiitanen will be responsible for TransWorld SNOWboarding‘s video franchises, including Team Shoot Out, 20 Tricks, and Park Sessions, as well as all original content for TWSnow.com and soon TransWorld.tv.
Barker, based out of Whistler, BC, Canada, will join the title’s senior photographer team, including Andy Wright, Scott Serfas, and Frode Sandbech, traveling the world to deliver stellar action photos and compelling portraits in the upcoming 25th volume of TransWorld SNOWboarding.
