The arrival of Sunday’s storm has delivered over three feet
of snow to Kirkwood Mountain Resort as of 12:00pm on Monday December 7,
2009, providing the resort with the opportunity to open more terrain for
Tuesday. On Tuesday morning, Kirkwood will operate two chair lifts – Chair
5 (Solitude) and Chair 11 (The Reut) with intermediate and advanced
intermediate terrain, along with a handful of terrain park features.

With another storm anticipated to arrive before the weekend, Kirkwood is
currently planning to have eight chairs operational including the Timber
Creek Base Area among several other resort restaurants and amenities.

Ticket pricing on Tuesday December 8 will be $48 for adults with a full
list of pricing across all age groups available online at

NEW YEAR’S EVE 2010
Make Kirkwood your destination to ring in the New Year! The resort will
host it’s annual Torchlight Parade and Fireworks Spectacular on December
31, 2009 starting at 6:00pm. Following the parade and fireworks, guests
