Big Bear Lake, California—MFM has sent in the list. Twenty-eight snowboarders have been invited to compete in this years’ 2nd Annual Block Party at Big Bear Lake Ca. Only the first twenty that RSVP will be allowed to compete in The Block Party 2005.All invited Snowboarders will receive free transportation from LAX, up to 4 days and 3 nights in a room at The Block at Big Bear including free food, drinks and entertainment during the entire 3 day stay.Invited riders are:

The three-day fundraising event is being hosted by The Block at Big Bear and Bear Mountain Resort. Events and Prize money are being sponsored by Boost Mobile, Red Bull, DVS, Nitro Snowboards, Heineken Beer, Happy and Snowboard magazines.

Half of the proceeds raised for the event will be donated to the Red Cross fund benefiting the victims of Hurricane Katrina. www.redcross.org/donate/donate.html

The rail contest and after party will be taped by Fuel Television, a division of Fox Sports.

The event will feature an all-night welcome party, a rail contest at Bear Mountain Resort, and a 3000 person after party at the Log Cabin restaurant and bar featuring go-go dancers, 4 bars, and all night dancing (A free buffet and cocktail hour will be held for VIP’s prior to the event). The weekend will end with a closing barbecue at THE BLOCK at Big Bear on Sunday afternoon, December 11, 2005.

Over 5,000 people are expected to attend the rail contest and at least 3,000 at the after party. No rooms are being sold at The Block at Big Bear during this weekend—all rooms are being donated for the event.
