Squaw Valley USA and Oakley present THAT’S IT, THAT’S ALL and UNIQUELY Movie Premiere & Concert in Support of The Derek Morg Fund on December 27 at the Olympic Village Lodge in Squaw Valley USA.
Derek Morg was diagnosed with Hodgkins’s Lymphoma in July 2008 and his disease is incurable without a bone marrow transplant. Due to the financial hardships of being a small business owner (Derek owns and operates Fritz Bar & Grill on the UNR campus), Derek was unable to secure adequate health insurance. Since his diagnosis his medical bills have already soared to $75,000, and continued treatments and hospitalization are ahead.
Everyone attending the film premiere and concert extravaganza is entered into the raffle for a chance to win thousands of dollars in prizes including 2 Burton snowboards signed by Shawn White. Partygoers can purchase additional raffle tickets. All proceeds benefit the Derek Morg Fund.
The THAT’S IT, THAT’S ALL and UNIQUELY Movie Premiere & Concert in Support of The Derek Morg Fund is at the Olympic Village Lodge in Squaw Valley. Doors open at 8 pm and the first movie, THAT’S IT, THAT’S ALL, starts at 8:30 pm followed by UNIQUELY at 9:30 pm. The raffle takes place at 10:30 pm and the event culminates with a live performance by Ming and Ping with special guests Misfritz. Tickets are $15 and all proceeds and a portion of bar sales benefit the Derek Morg Fund.
Amid the never-ending mission to find the next adventure comes THAT’S IT, THAT’S ALL, a snowboard film that opens doors to the possibilities. Aspiring to bring you closer, the Hi Def, 35mm, super16 footage answers the question why Rice and his friends have poured blood, sweat, tears and soul into a simple thing like snowboarding. THAT’S IT, THAT’S ALL features Travis Rice, Nicolas Müller, Terje Håkonsen, Jeremy Jones, John Jackson, Mark Landvik, Pat Moore, Scotty Lago, Bryan Iguchi, Jake Blauvelt, Danny Kass, Eddie Wall, and many more.
