With an upper-mountain base of 20² and over 55² of
natural snow falling thus far with more in the forecast, Sugar Bowl Resort
plans to open for the 2011/12 ski season on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday,
November 24th.  Resort Operators were pleasantly surprised on Sunday morning
with over 12² of fresh snow atop Mt. Lincoln, and with colder snowmaking
temps and yet another storm system forecast to move in late Wednesday, all
mountain operations were put into motion for a Thanksgiving Day ski & ride
holiday.

Conditions permitting, operational plans will be:
Thursday, November 24th:  Open through the Judah Portal only, with both
White Pine and Jerome Hill lifts spinning.  Lift Ticket prices will be $52
Adult; $45 Young Adult/Senior; and $20 Child/Super Senior

Friday, November 25th through Sunday, November 27th:  Open through the
Judah Portal only, with White Pine, Jerome Hill, Christmas Tree, Mt. Lincoln
and Nob Hill lifts spinning.  Lift Ticket prices TBD
