Donner Summit CA – Sugar Bowl Ski Resort plans to open for skiing and snowboarding on Sunday, November 25th. The resort, which is celebrating its 62nd year in operation, plans to open the Mount Judah complex with skiing and snowboarding on the White Pine and Jerome Hill Express lifts. The Jerome Hill lift serves almost 1,000 vertical feet of terrain. Recent storms in conjunction with the resorts snowmaking efforts will allow Sugar Bowl to open its Trailblazer run off Jerome Hill and several beginner runs off the White Pine Lift.
All guest services and mountain access will be available through the Mt. Judah Day Lodge only. Adult and young adult lift tickets will be sold at a reduced price of $30. Sugar Bowl’s Mountain Sports Learning Center will be open for private lessons only and will expand their lesson programs as conditions allow. The new Mt. Lincoln Express, which is the only new chairlift in California, is scheduled to open later in the week.
